Howell F. Wallace, President of the Mid-Del Charitable Foundation, says “We are so very proud to award financial grants to these deserving organizations so they are able to continue to reach out and affect so many members of our community during these dire economic times. Every recipient honored here today tires long and hard to ensure the quality of life for so many in our downstate communities.”

Mr. Wallace along with the presiding officers and directors distributed grants to 32 organizations including the Delaware 4-H Foundation.

The Delaware 4-H Foundation provides direct support to youth and adults in the form of out-of-state trips to regional and national 4-H events such as livestock judging, engineering events, and National 4-H Congress in addition to supporting awards and incentives at the county and state level, teen and adult leadership training, and camp scholarships.

The funds will support Delaware 4-H members through the State and Regional Leadership Forum as well as state teen conference and National 4-H Conference.
